Kristen Stepp


Kristen Stepp was born in Philadelphia. She studied at the prestigious Philadelphia High School for Girls - graduating with highest honors at the young age of sixteen. She continued her education at Rutgers University as a Psychology major. In her sophmore year - intrigued by an announcement of a playwrighting contest - she entered. Critically acclaimed as another George Bernard Shaw surpassed the victory of winning.

A former model, the author graced the cover of "Strength & Health" (an internationally distributed Hoffman health magazine) at the height of her modeling career.

A former accountant, the author has worked in private industry as well as for the federal government. She was employed by the United States Census Bureau in Philadelphia for two years.

Stepp's writing credits include numerous articles and short stories written for "Reader's Digest" and "Elle" and "Mademoiselle" magazines. She has written material performed by up and coming comedians. The versatile Stepp has also ghost written speeches for well-known political figures.

The author makes her home in Southern California. "Remembering You" is her first book of poetry.
